Washington Nationals pitcher Trevor Williams has become the latest reminder of a growing concern: athletes are often encouraged to speak openly—until that expression includes Christian faith. Then the response can look very different: exclusion, pressure, and unequal treatment.
That’s why we’re asking you to stand with Trevor Williams and Faith Driven Consumers by signing our “Add-Us-In: Stand with Faith-Driven Athletes and Fans” petition today.

Just weeks ago, we shared the story of Christian NBA athlete Jaden Ivey.
Now the same concerns have surfaced in Major League Baseball.
Washington Nationals pitcher Trevor Williams became the center of a national controversy after a hidden-camera caught a team executive stating that the Nationals avoided featuring Williams in social media content because of his outspoken Christian faith and public defense of his Catholic beliefs.
Different athlete. Different league. Same concern.
When athletes are encouraged to speak openly on many issues but face pressure or exclusion when they express Christian conviction, the message is clear: faith is welcome only if it stays private.
We are not asking sports organizations to silence, replace, or erase any community. We are asking them to add us in.

By signing, you’re helping send a clear message: faith belongs in the marketplace, the workplace, and yes—even in sports.
Let’s stand united.
Sincerely,
Chris Stone
